Over the years, many journalists and interviewers have opened up about their experiences of interviewing celebrities. Many of these anecdotes often shed light on a big celebrity’s personality trait that the fans never knew about. RJ J Man opened up about his experience of interviewing Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, and their level of professionalism.
Talking about interviewing Khan and Bachchan, he recalled that while the veteran actor arrived ahead of time for the interview, the 58-year-old actor was ‘fashionably late’. During an interaction with the Inside the Mind with Rushabh podcast, he revealed that the Kalki 2898 AD actor had arrived 15 prior to the interview. He shared that he was feeling very nervous in the actor’s presence. Quoted by Indian Express, the RJ said, “His team always requests for the questions in advance, and they need to be written in Devanagri. He was sitting there, and there were only two people standing, but the entire office had gathered around me just to watch Amitabh Bachchan.” He went on to add how the atmosphere in the room had changed because of Sr Bachchan’s star presence. On the other hand, Khan had arrived six to seven hours late for the interview. Jayaraman Mohan, who goes by the name J Man, added that the delay was expected as he is a busy man with multiple commitments. However, unlike Big B, the Tiger Zinda Hai actor had arrived with an entire entourage of bodyguards and PR people.
RJ J Man said, “You have to understand that he’s a very busy man, and he has a lot of commitments. You will have to wait, sometimes for six hours, sometimes for seven hours. But he was very sweet, he fed me a sandwich, answered all the questions. But there were things that I observed; there are a lot of bodyguards, there are a lot of PR people, there’s a huge entourage.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in multi-starrer Kalki 2898 AD. He essayed the role of Ashwatthama in the sci-fi actioner mythology-based film, which was lauded by the audiences as well as the critics. He is currently hosting his quiz-based reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati season 16. He will be next seen in Vettaiyan, co-starring Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil.
Salman Khan, on the other hand, has AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick Sikander alongside Rashmika Mandanna in his pipeline. He will also return to the small screens to host Bigg Boss season 18.
